MORGAN CRANBERRY

Banker |  Maximus Cranberry’s Wife and Trace and Kell's Mother

The beautiful Morgan Peaknuckle-Cranberry is a prim and proper lady, a successful banker at Mayflower First National, and a mother of two beautiful children - Kell and Trace Cranberry. She has a mysterious quality but is a gracious and welcoming hostess.

Rumor has it that Morgan has installed surveillance cameras that point in the direction where the snack buffet table is traditionally set up for Thanksgiving. The reason? Many years of drama caused by double-dipping accusations and denials. Morgan might also have assigned seating this year. Some say it's because some dinner guests, not to be named, aren't as neat as others and might need to be strategically sat by the least number of people, if possible.

 MAXIMUS CRANBERRY

High School Football Coach |  Morgan Cranberry’s Husband and Kell and Trace's Father

Maximus Cranberry is a handsome and charismatic gentleman. He’s an energetic head football coach at Pilgrim City High School. Max loves to sleep and will fall asleep at inopportune times - even during football games he’s coaching! Nevertheless, for many years, his teams have been undefeated and have won state championships, so maybe the cat naps aren't hurting anyone.

This coach also sleepwalks, which can be a tad creepy. Family members have reported Max doing nutty things in the middle of the night, such as giving the refrigerator a mumble-riddled lecture about energy costs, loading the dishwasher with dirty laundry, packing lunches with raw potatoes and taco seasoning packets, and checking the walls with a plunger as if it were a stethoscope. 

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: A tracksuit and a whistle.

 

NOVA ORION-PEANUCKLE

Influencer | Axel's Wife, Jinx, Rogue, and Seven's Mother

'Nova Noticed'

Nova Peanuckle is a well-known social media influencer. From toy unboxing videos to makeup tutorials, Nova does anything that gets views, comments, and likes. Recently, Nova has been delving into prank videos with her mischievous offspring, Jinx Peanuckle.

Nova has been an influencer for many years with slow but steady growth. However, since she released a couple of prank videos with Jinx, her accounts have almost doubled. She didn't want to be a prank-based influencer, but it's challenging to get away from that with all the attention. 

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Super trendy, flashy attire, worthy of an influencer. Travel-size halo light, selfie stick.

AXEL PEANUCKLE

 Chef | Nova's Husband, Jinx, Rogue, and Seven's Father

Axel Peanuckle owns a restaurant, Cranberry & Sage, in the quiet vacation town of Plymouth Pines. Not willing to miss Thanksgiving with the family again, Axel concocted a plan to drive 10 hours straight through to the Cranberrys’ home and will likely arrive with only minutes to spare.

The restaurant will close at 10 PM, so Axel will need to stay and clean up and see the staff out, run home and get the family, and then get on the road after a long, hard day of work. Hopefully, Seven comes through with the thermos of double-shot espressos. 

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Chef’s uniform with Thanksgiving-themed accessories (i.e., turkey hat, etc.).

JINX PEANUCKLE

Influencer |  Nova & Axel’s Child, Sibling of Rogue & Seven

'The Jinx Effect'

Jinx recently graduated from college with a degree in marketing just as the social media followers started snowballing. After a hilarious prank video went viral with Jinx’s two siblings as the victims, this rookie influencer rose to internet fame and is loving every second of it.

Jinx's first viral video involved a fake lottery ticket. Jinx threw in the fishing line, caught both Rogue and Seven, and then a master plan of having them fight it out to see who would win the fake lottery ticket ensued, making a series of viral content. 

Before the siblings knew what had happened, both Jinx and Nova made a living room family portrait seem alive by hiding speakers with their voices behind the canvas. Needless to say, the videos that came out of this prank is how Nova's social media accounts doubled. It was hysterical watching Rogue and Seven crash out over the portrait.

ROGUE PEANUCKLE

College Student | Nova & Axel’s Child, Sibling of Jinx & Seven

One year behind Jinx at Plymouth Pines College, Rogue is a super-serious mathematics major. Rogue doesn’t take a joke or find humor in anything, but has sky-high ambitions.

Rogue has a difficult exam coming up the Monday after Thanksgiving break and has requested to stay home for Thanksgiving, but it's highly doubtful that Nova and Axel will allow this to happen. 

Rogue has made one thing clear to both Nova (Rogue's mother) and Jinx - Rogue will not be part of any social media content during this trip. We'll see if that holds up.

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Nerdy attire with nerdy accessories: calculator, headgear, taped black-rimmed glasses, bow tie, suspenders.

 

SEVEN PEANUCKLE

 Barista |  Nova & Axel’s Child, Sibling of Rogue & Jinx

'8-9'

Seven Peanuckle is a senior at Plymouth Pines High School and the youngest of three siblings. Seven works part-time at Java the Hut Coffee as a barista and aspires to be a professional gamer one day. 

Seven plays most of the same games as Dr. Molly Cranberry, but they are not on the same teams or guilds. Molly is ranked slightly higher than Seven, so Seven hopes that Dr. Molly will be playing video games on Thanksgiving. This gamer wants to learn from the best! 

At only 5 years old, Seven was given the nickname 8-9 after friends learned the following joke: Why was 6 afraid of 7? Because 7 ate (8) 9.

Seven hates that joke. 

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Barista uniform: Black shirt/pants with a burgundy apron. Rag hanging out of your pocket.

 

ZIBBY TUMBLEWEED

Guitarist |  Fable's Spouse, Alex's Parent

Zibby is the lead guitarist for the family band, The Traveling Tumbleweeds. Before creating the rock band with the fam, Zibby was known as Dr. Tumbleweed, and was one of the best dentists in Pilgrim City. But the family followed their hearts and set out on tour after a few of their songs they performed in their garage went viral on social media. The rest is history - The Traveling Tumbleweeds is one of the biggest alternative rock bands in the world. This year, the Tumbleweed family will be home in Pilgrim City for Thanksgiving before heading to Austin, Texas, for their next show. Morgan Cranberry was very excited that they finally sent in their RSVP after so many years. They hadn't spent Thanksgiving with their neighbors for 10 years!

FABLE TUMBLEWEED

Drummer |  Zibby's Spouse, Alex's Parent

'Fabs'

A former health & fitness trainer, Fable now drums for the family band, The Traveling Tumbleweeds.  The three-person rock group has been cranking out hit songs for seven years and has built quite a fanbase.

Fable and Zibby are long-time neighbors of Max and Morgan Cranberry, but it's been 10 years since they've spent Thanksgiving together.  Fable and Zibby live across the street, next to the reporter for RBC News, Tele Evitang. When the Tumbleweed Family started their rock band with 13-year-old Alex as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist, Tele was reporting about every little thing that happened at their home. Needless to say, they were all boring stories, as all this family does is practice music.

ALEX TUMBLEWEED

'Lil Legend'

Alex has fronted the family band, The Traveling Tumbleweeds, since age 13 as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist. Due to a rigorous tour schedule and rising fame, Alex had to be homeschooled starting in 8th grade. Because Alex grew up in the spotlight and was showered with attention, Alex can be a tad spoiled at times.

Alex and Seven Peaknuckle used to hang out every Thanksgiving at the Cranberry home when they were very young. This year, they both hope to see each other and catch up. Hopefully, they can pick up where they left off....but...maybe both of them are have moved beyond irritating the older kids or building sheet forts or riding bikes in the neighborhood?  On second thought...maybe not.

CHEF MO CRANBERRY

Chef | Maximus and Beatrice's Sibling

'Chef Mo'

If you looked up the word ‘perfectionist’ in the dictionary, Chef Mo Cranberry’s picture would be next to the description. Mo constantly works on perfecting already tasty delights.

Chef Mo is always signing up for cooking courses, especially ones that teach the most innovative techniques. However, this perfectionist has a bit of an attention problem and hardly is ever able to do these innovative techniques away from the instructors. Or, maybe it's because the techniques didn't work in the first place? Who knows. 

Hopefully, Chef Mo has paid attention during the most recent molecular gastronomy course, as that is supposedly how the turkey will be cooked this year at the Cranberry home. Hopefully, the Chef has a backup plan!

LUMINOL PEANUCKLE

Crime Lab Director | Morgan Cranberry’s Sibling

'Lumi'

Luminol Peaknuckle, a famous forensic scientist from New York City, will be coming home for the holidays. 

Lumi works on some of the most fascinating criminal cases the world has ever learned about, but Lumi's lips are always sealed, as a forensic scientist cannot talk about court cases until the trial. And once the trial is happening, the reporters are all over it. But people still prod Lumi to talk about what is going on in that lab, nevertheless! 

 Lumi is single, has no pets, and lives for the laboratory and solving criminal cases - which is the best situation for the 80-hour work weeks. This scientist can be a tad egotistical and is very opinionated.

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Lab jacket and tousled hair.

 

PERRY PEAKNUCKLE

'Gramps'

Gramps is the strong and silent backbone of the Peaknuckle Troupe. This fun-loving grandpa is the one to go to if you want to hear stories of the ‘good ole’ days.’

Just be sure you have time in your schedule, as Perry can be quite long-winded and will line out every boring detail when telling a story, such as what the barometric pressure and humidity was that day - among other nonsensical details. 

Perry does have one weakness, though. Hunger. Perry holds many food-consuming records, such as the quickest time to finish off a roasted turkey at the Pilgrim City Thanksgiving Festival.

PATRICIA PEAKNUCKLE

Homemaker | Perry's Wife, Lumi and Morgan's Mother

'Granny Pea'

Granny Pea is a quiet grandmother and homemaker. Since childhood, she has endured bouts of sibling rivalry with her brother, Sherlock Watson. As a result, these siblings only get together on Thanksgiving. What will happen between them this year?

Last year, Granny Pea fired the last shot when she switched Sherlock's water with straight vinegar. He turned ten shades of green before rushing out of the room after he took a big swig to wash down a big bite of mashed potatoes. The only words he said after that happened was 'I’ll Let My Revenge Simmer Until Next Thanksgiving.' The family is anxiously awaiting what will happen this year.

BEATRICE CRANBERRY

Schoolteacher  | Max & Chef Mo's Sister and Yetan's Mother

'Auntie Bee, Bee'

Auntie Bee is the no-nonsense schoolteacher. She teaches a strict curriculum in her kindergarten

class and refuses to put up with baloney in the classroom! Nevertheless, off the school grounds, this teacher is devious! She loves to speak with Gen Alpha slang that she picks up from the kids and thrives on everyone's cringe when she misuses the slang words. Some people say she does it on purpose. Which is likely true. 

Bee is a doting mother to Yetan, her only child. They are a tightknit pair and have each other's backs on everything. 

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Very conservative schoolteacher attire.

 

SHERLOCK WATSON

Detective  | Patricia Peaknuckle's Brother

'Uncle Sherlock, Unc'

Sherlock Watson is the head detective at Pilgrim City Police Department. He's a tiger at a crime scene, but he’s a total pushover in real life. Uncle Sherlock is shy and reserved, but his British accent is enough to win everyone over. That is, until he does one of his annoying crouching-tiger impersonations - that's enough to make people flee.

But he's from the United States, and nobody knows where he picked up this accent. He claims it's from having a British friend, but Patricia says it's all for attention. The accent sometimes disappears if Sherlock is telling a story, which does support what Patricia's saying about it. 

Sherlock and Patricia have been embattled in sibling rivalry since Patricia was born, only 11 months after Sherlock.

DR. MOLLY CRANBERRY

Retired Physician | Maximus Cranberry’s Mother

'Grandma Moddie'

Grandma Moddie has led a stressful life as a cardiac surgeon. Now retired, she keeps a fast pace and is easily incensed if she doesn’t get her way. Grandma Moddie has a severe addiction to video games, and aspires to launch a second career as a professional gamer. She is ranked on several games, and seriously has a chance at one day, getting national recognition. Molly uses the gamer tag @MollyAARPWarChief007MC and encourages her grandchildren to follow her footsteps - and not with her medical career. 

Molly has asked her mother-in-law not to play video games this year and to spend time with the family. However, Molly has a couple of tournaments on Thanksgiving that she absolutely cannot miss. ​

KELL CRANBERRY

  Skateboarder | Morgan/Maximus Cranberry’s Child, Trace's Sibling

Kell Cranberry is a loving, lively person that any parent would be proud to have. With one exception - Kell gets

what Kell wants, or people pay the price.

Kell wants to be a professional skateboarder and practices at the local skatepark for hours every day. Kell doesn't miss a local or regional skateboarding competition and often wins the titles. Kell is going to compete on an upcoming amateur skateboarding circuit and has been seeking sponsorships. Many are looking very promising.

TRACE CRANBERRY

Athlete | Morgan/Maximus Cranberry’s Child, Kell's Sibling

Trace Cranberry is the opposite of Kell Cranberry. Trace is a calm and relaxed person who only brings energy to the athletic field - or to arguments with Kell.

Trace is a multi-sport athlete, a naturally-gifted competitor who excels at nearly every sport. Trace has been attending college showcases and recruiting camps with a goal of casting the widest possible net to earn an athletic scholarship in whatever sport that gives Trace the best opportunity.

MUP CRANBERRY

 Retired Candy Shop Owner | Maximus’s Father

'Grandpa Mup'

Senility is Grandpa Mup’s middle name! Mup is a retired candy maker who loves to pull practical jokes!  This grandpa can’t be told what to do, as everything is blamed on the senility.

Some people in the family swear that Mup isn’t the least bit senile and that it’s all an act. If you ask his wife, she'll 'plead the 5th.' That kind of says it all. 

Neverthless, Mup comes up with some clever pranks to pull on everyone, such as when he put a speaker inside of the cooked turkey last year before Chef Mo carved it. As soon as the blade of the knife hit the bird, it started squealing 'Help Me.' What ensued at the Cranberrys' dinner table after that was pure chaos. But it was an epic type of chaos, no doubt.

DR. ISAAC ALBERT

Food Scientist | Cranberry Family’s Neighbor

Dr. Isaac Albert is an outstanding member of the high-IQ society Mensa International and a leading food science researcher. His life’s work is creating a small, dehydrated food capsule that turns into an instant, delicious meal with three drops of water. However, after all these years and grants - it still doesn't work properly. The turkey is dry and the mashed potatoes taste like cardboard. Dr. Albert has been putting out feelers to other scientists to see if there's maybe another project worth picking up. The grant money will certainly dry up on the dehydrated capsule project soon. 

Dr. Albert lives next door to Morgan and Max Cranberry.

YETAN CRANBERRY

Chess Champion | Beatrice Cranberry’s Child

'Yetz'

Yetan Cranberry is a four-time national chess champion with a mischievous side. Yetan has learned everything about practical jokes from Grandpa Mup.

Supposedly, Yetz has a big prank planned for this year - or that might just be a rumor started by the cousins (Trace and Kell) to put Yetz in a bad light. The three cousins have been beefing on social media about who is getting the turkey wishbone this year. Trace and Kell usually end up with it, but Yetz wants a shot at it this year. A villain of the chess world who lives in Russia is coming the USA to compete for the national title. Yetz has come to believe in the silly wishbone superstition and will do anything to participate in the pull this year to possibly earn a wish.

DR. ANDY MALLS

Veterinarian | Cranberry Family’s Neighbor

Dr. Malls is a friendly neighborhood veterinarian and a strict vegan. The doc is a great neighbor until the

 rant begins about animals being friends, not food.

Dr. Malls has been seen around town spearheading bizarre animal rights events, such as picking the best steakhouse in town while wearing a cow costume, picketing the grocery store for selling animal crackers, and staging a rescue mission for the lobsters living in the tanks of a popular seafood place, The Crabby Lobster. 

Dr. Malls lives next door to Morgan and Max Cranberry, on the other side from Dr. Albert. 

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Scrubs and an optional stethoscope as a prop.

 

TELE EVITANG & FAMILY

Journalist | Neighborhood Gossip

'Super Snooper'

 Tele Evitang is always on top of the latest story - sometimes before they even happen!  Tele’s an ambitious investigative reporter for RBC TV and will stop at nothing to get a scoop. Tele spreads neighborhood gossip like wildfire, so beware of what you say around this nosy neighbor - it might end up on RBC News!

The Evitang family lives directly across the street from the Cranberry family. Tele has a direct line of sight from a kitchen window and is often seen spying on the Cranberry home with binoculars by neighborhood joggers. 

Rumor has it that Tele has invited every extended Evitang family member worldwide this year for Thanksgiving. Tele will have a full house, but still plans to at least stop by the Cranberrys’ home to catch up!
