Here is the selection for fighting (non-superhero or medieval) characters:

Martial Arts, such as UFC, boxers, karate champs, should wear their respective uniforms.   

Ninjas can wear the traditional ninja costume with some toy ninja weapons as optional props, or you can go more superhero style like with the Black Widow costume or an assassin costume. 

The Kill Bill line or Mortal Kombat costumes are great choices for any fighter role.
