For your escape room, you can create a crossword puzzle (there are puzzle generators online you can use).  With your hidden words, you can use this as a message either for the group to find the next scenario in the room - or, as with our Murder in the Escape Room game, you'll use the crossword (Clue #2) given to you with the game to give clues about the mystery person's identity. 

You can provide a word bank if you wish to reduce the challenge level, but we suggest not doing that.  You don't want to make your room too easy. There's always an option to give hints if the group gets stuck, but you can't take too easy away. 

 

We suggest just having the crossword available in the room without instructions. The group will figure out they must solve it.
