This one is simple. Hide the key to the padlock inside of the hide-a-key rock and place the rock anywhere in the room – but not too obvious. You can either hide the locked box with the padlock or have it in the open.  If the players get stuck, you can give them a hint of ‘You are all doing great. You rock.’  Hopefully, that will be enough to push them in the right direction to find the rock.

 Props needed for this scenario:

• A hide a key rock (fake rock key holder) – do a Google search – there are plenty of options for ~ $5-$10

• A padlock with key that can lock any item – a box, bag, etc.
