PRACTICAL JOKE SIDE QUESTS
Is your murder mystery game character a practical joker who loves to pull pranks on others? Well, here are some ideas for pranks you can pull during the party!
If you decide to try to win any of the side quests, your reward is bragging rights—and a chance to appear in our upcoming Hall of Fame. There are a limited number of spots!

POST-IT NOTES ON THE BACK
Slip a sticky note onto other players' backs without them detecting it. See how long it can stay there before anyone says something. Examples:

You win the quest if nobody catches you after placing 5 sticky notes onto players' backs.
PHOTO BOMB SELFIES
If anyone takes photos or selfies during the party. Be the notorious photo-bomber. Come up with a signature pose, such as the I'm mewing rn pose, or just act wild & crazy. Or, maybe even do a statue or robot.
Players will get a kick out of looking back at all their photos later and comparing them with others' photos.
If you can photobomb 5 people without being noticed until after the photo is taken, you win the quest.
WHERE ARE THESE GOOGLY EYES COMING FROM?
Bring a sheet of adhesive googly eyes with you to the party, but don't let anyone see you with it.
Sneak the googly eyes onto any disposable containers, such as soda cans or water bottles.
Over time, people will take notice and start to wonder where they are coming from.
If you can successfully Googly Eye at least 5 items at the party without being caught - you win the quest.
TINY DUCK INVASION
Stuff your pockets with tiny ducks before the party and - without being caught - place them in harmless spots around the party areas as the night progresses. Maybe beside a centerpiece, on a shelf, on a bathroom counter, etc. Don't get caught.
To win this quest: place 5 ducks without being seen and have someone ask where they are coming from.
THE TRAVELING PORTRAIT
Sneak in a wallet-sized framed photograph of anyone/anything that is silly. Place it in odd locations during the party - until you hear at least two people commenting on either:
1. What it's doing in that location.
2. Who is it?
You win the quest if nobody catches you moving the photo around and if two people inquire about it.
SECRET HANDSHAKE THAT DOESN'T EXIST
Tell different players that you're trying to remember the party's secret handshake. Then, pretend to remember it, teach it to them, and ask them not to tell anyone else, and don't explain further. Teach different handshakes to each person you tell.
If you can teach 5 players a different secret handshake without them telling on you, you win the quest.
THE GOLD STAR OF CONFUSION
Bring a sheet of gold star stickers to the party. When anyone seems to do anything 'good,' such as tell you a secret, act like their character, etc., hand them a gold star sticker. Do not explain, just say 'shhhh, later.' See how many stickers you can get people to place on themselves (hand, name tag, costume, etc.).
If you can successfully place five stickers on to 5 different players' hands without them asking the host about it - you win the quest.
WHO INVITED THE CREATURES?
Sneak plastic bugs or other creepy-crawler in the party area - but not around the food, as you don't want it to accidentally get into any dishes or drinks. You can switch the locations around as you wish - or - place more than one throughout the party - just don't forget where you put them!
To win this quest: get two people to notice your plastic friend, and you win.
