Purgatory is the largest sector of the island where the prisoners who do not fit in with the other sections live. They are referred to as misfits, but many of the prisoners here maintain their innocence. Purgatory is vulnerable, as it is not protected. The people of this section are constantly attacked by Tobias and the Junk Rats, as well as the island tigers.
