CHARLIE PERIWINKLE

Fisherman

Originally from the bayous of southern Louisiana, Charlie travels the world searching for the best deep-sea fishing. Charlie recently became a boat captain and hosts deep-sea fishing excursions along the eastern coastline. Charlie is famous for pirate impersonations and prefers to be called Captain Charlie.

Charlie always rambles on about a childhood dream of becoming an astronaut. Some might say it's too late for that, but Charlie still holds hope that it might one day happen.  However, Charlie is overwhelmed with how to get started.  

Costume Suggestions: Casual bluish-purple-colored fisherman's attire of any kind. Fisherman's hat or pirate hat as an optional prop. Bluish-purple-trimmed or colored masquerade mask as a prop.  Smudgy bronzer to look sun-worn. Carry a toy fishing rod or a stuffed fish—bonus points if you shout “Aye aye!” like a pirate captain-in-training.

MICKY MUSTARD

Astronaut 

Micky Mustard lingers in the shadows during social gatherings. With an exceptionally high I.Q., conversing with this genius can be a challenge. Micky's known to talk over everyone's head, being a rocket scientist-turned-astronaut with superhuman intelligence.

Micky earned a perfect score on the SAT exam, and over the years, pretty much everyone in town has heard the story. However, if you want this astronaut to tell the tale again - Micky will be more than happy to fill you in on the details. 

Costume Suggestions: Astronaut costume (or any white jumpsuit) with a golden-trimmed masquerade mask as a prop.  Slicked-back “genius hair” or a clean helmet-hair look. Add metallic gold face paint accents to match the mask. Carry a clipboard covered in equations or a toy rocket you won’t stop referencing.

STEVIE PINK

Cafeteria Line Worker

Stevie Pink is the nosy cafeteria line worker at Bloodworth Falls Elementary School. Stevie eavesdrops on the kids during lunchtime and knows everything about everyone. This lunch worker is no stranger to cutting a rug, as Stevie is always bustin' a move. 

Stevie often leaves work with a sauce-stained chef's jacket and hairnet - but this cafeteria worker could care less what others in town think! Stevie would rock this look to a fine-dining restaurant if allowed! 

Costume Suggestions: Cafeteria uniform. Pink masquerade mask as a prop.  Hairnet, smudged apron “sauce stains,” and rosy cheeks from dancing in the cafeteria. Carry a plastic ladle and serve dramatic side-eye with every step.

CARNEY COBALT

Amusement Park Ride Operator

Carney Vale is the boisterous amusement park ride operator at Bloodworth Falls Amusement Center. Carney has a bad habit of mocking people and a reputation for being greedy. Don't get into a situation where Carney could take advantage of you, or you'll lose!

Carney runs the ride Attack of the King Snake, which is the most popular - and scariest - ride in the park. The power of running the best ride has somewhat gone to Carney's head. 

Costume Suggestions: Blue carnival/amusement park uniform/t-shirt. Blue masquerade mask as a prop.  Spiked or gelled hair like you’ve been wind-blasted all day. Bold blue eye shadow (F) and a whistle around your neck. A toy snake wrapped around your arm for “King Snake operator realness.”

TELE TAUPE

RBC News Reporter

Tele Taupe is always on top of the latest stories - sometimes before they happen! Tele's an ambitious investigative reporter for the RBC Television Station and will stop at nothing to be the first to get the scoop.

Rumor has it that Tele has applied for the open position of news anchor at the CBC News Station. Alas, Tele's not the only one in town who is being considered. Many talented individuals have sent in their resumes for consideration. 

Costume Suggestions: Wear taupe-colored attire (or reporter costume) with an optional microphone (toy/fake). As a prop, wear a taupe-trimmed masquerade mask. (F) Sleek blowout or neatly set curls, with crisp neutral makeup and sharp brows. (M) Neatly styled, camera-ready hair. Carry a toy microphone and flip a fake press badge dramatically. Always look like you're about to break a scandal. There is an RBC News merch line at our merch store.

CHEK LILAC

Bank Teller

Chek Lilac is the pennywise bank teller. Known to be quite frugal, Chek will drive you crazy with meticulous calculations to the nearest quarter of a cent! Add thirty minutes to the time slot if you plan a lunch date with Chek, as it takes that long for Chek to analyze the bill!  

Many people in town have anecdotes of how Chek has either directly or indirectly made them late for things - all because of the frugality. Maybe Chek needs a cheap-o intervention? 

Costume Suggestions: Business attire (black or any shade of purple) with a light purple masquerade mask as a prop.  Click here for men's attire. Click here for women's attire.  

Slick, perfectly parted hair or a tight bun to show “precision,” with (F) lilac eyeliner or lipstick. Carry a calculator, receipt tape, or coin rolls as props. (F) Wear glasses on a chain or (M) folded in shirt pocket and constantly “audit” people’s outfits with judgmental squints.

FRANKIE VERMILLION

ER Physician 

Frankie Vermillion is the energetic emergency room physician at Bloodworth Falls Hospital and heir to Bloodwood Castle. This doc's in profound love - with none other than Dr. Frankie Vermillion. Dr. V doesn't pass up a reflective surface without admiring themselves.

Frankie wants nothing more than to sell the Bloodwood Castle and make a fortune from the sale. However, Frankie is unable to sell it, as the bloodline trust prohibits the sale of the castle - it must stay in the family until there is no heir to inherit it. 

Costume Suggestions: Scrubs, Lab coat and stethoscope as optional props. Red masquerade mask as a prop. Big, dramatic hair (or ultra-sleek) to admire it in every reflective surface; (F) shiny red lip or bold contour. Carry a compact mirror and a stethoscope, posing like a medical soap-opera star. A splash of red accessories adds the perfect “self-loving doctor royalty” vibe.

ALEX CHARCOAL

Pastry Chef

Alex Charcoal is a baker and owner of Bloodworth Falls Bakery. Unfortunately, Alex is the rudest and most notorious party crasher in town. For this reason, Alex received a free ticket to the masquerade ball at Bloodwood Castle to ease the tension!

If it weren't for being the absolute, hands-down best baker in town - Alex's pastry shop would be out of business. Alex had to hire a local teen to deal with the customers, as there were daily customer fits over Alex's attitude and sass level. 

Costume Suggestions: Dark gray-colored chef's attire with a chef's hat as an optional prop. Dark gray masquerade mask as a prop.  (F) Smudged smoky-gray eyeshadow. Flour streaks in hair, and a towering chef hat worn slightly crooked. Carry a whisk or piping bag like a weapon of sass.

FUREN COPPER

Veterinarian

Furen Copper is the most annoying one-upper in Bloodworth Falls. If you've done, said, or tried anything cool, Furen's done it more often, said it already, and tried it three times. Furen is new to Bloodworth Falls, and not many people have gotten to know the real Dr. Copper.

The gossip mill of Bloodworth Falls reports that Furen might not be as talented of a vet as claimed. A few nosy townsfolk are trying to find out what happened in the town where Furen moved from. 

Costume Suggestions: Scrubs, lab coat and stethoscope as an optional prop. Copper-trimmed masquerade mask as a prop. Tousled “I wrestle animals all day” hair, (F) copper eyeliner, and faux scratches drawn with makeup. Carry a clipboard of “pet charts” and brag about impossible cases you’ve “totally handled.”

DYLAN SALMON

Videographer

Dylan Salmon is the most melancholy event videographer on the planet! Why this doom and gloomer would choose a career filming folks on their happiest days is beyond comprehension. However, this gothic videographer's dark and quirky event videos are becoming quite the trend in Bloodworth Falls!

Recently, Dylan has been picking up a following on social media with the gloomy videos of the happiest days of Dylan's clients' lives. Before anyone knows it, Dylan might reach the status of being an influencer! 

Costume Suggestions: Gothic but trendy attire with salmon-colored (orange, peach, etc.) accents/accessories. A salmon-trimmed masquerade mask as a prop.  Messy, moody hair with dark eyeliner and a salmon-tinted accessory (scarf or chain). Carry a tiny video camera or gimbal. Walk slowly like you’re always capturing B-roll of emotional shadows.

ROBYN TEAL

Kindergarten Teacher

Robyn Teal is a charming kindergarten teacher at Bloodworth Falls Elementary School. Robyn prefers the single life and doesn't want to be bogged down. Robyn's the town jet-setter and lives for the next adventure.

Robyn is also a germaphobe who will be the first one to accost you and call you a 'super spreader' if you sneeze or cough in public. Robyn is hardly ever ill - but maybe it's because of the gallons of hand sanitizer that goes on this teacher's hands each month? 

Costume Suggestions: Casual teacher's teal attire with a teal masquerade mask as a prop. (F) Soft curls or ponytail with teal barrettes, friendly freckles dotted on. (M) Tidy hair - clean-cut or pulled back in a neat man bun. Lanyard of fake classroom keys. Carry a giant bottle of hand sanitizer like it’s holy water against germs.

BAT VON AQUA

Tattoo Artist

Bat Von Aqua is the morose tattoo artist at the Bloodworth Falls Ink Shop. Every sentence spewing from Bat's mouth is hostile, unenthusiastic, and somewhat alarming. A self-proclaimed pessimist, Bat spends their free time writing sinister poetry in a darkened, dilapidated house on the edge of town.

Bat has recently put up a sign at the shop that says Bat will no longer do any requested tattoos. Suggestions will be considered, but if Bat thinks a requested tattoo is foolish - it won't be inked. Bat learned a costly lesson about tattooing dumb things that clients' requested. 

Costume Suggestions: Aqua or aqua-accented biker's/tattoo artist attire, full-sleeve tattoo on the arms, tattooed neck, and face (use makeup / temporary tattoos). Aqua or aqua-trimmed masquerade mask. Mohawk wig or slick shaved-side style, heavy aqua eyeliner, and layered faux tattoos up the neck and face. Carry a toy tattoo gun and stare into the void like everything annoys you.

PIZZY SAPPHIRE

Guitarist

Pizzy Sapphire is the antisocial guitarist for the band Armpit Anguish. Pizzy suffers from severe anger management issues and is highly judgmental of others. Unfortunately, these bad qualities tend to anger Pizzy's bandmates and anybody around for over a minute.

The reason the band is called Armpit Anguish is Pizzy heard a long time ago that deodorant causes cancer and Alzheimer's disease. Pizzy hasn't followed up to see if there's any developments on that - or if it were ever true - but the band named stuck, so what's done is done. 

Costume Suggestions:  Wear blue rock-n-roll attire with a blue masquerade mask as a prop. Optionally, have a guitar (toy or real) as a prop. Wild rock-star hair or wig, smudged sapphire eyeliner, studded bracelet, and faux band tattoos. Carry a guitar and dramatically complain about deodorant conspiracies.

MEL MAUVE

Skydiving Instructor

Mel Mauve has always been a daredevil. A courageous skydiving instructor, Mel aspires to be a reality television star. This brave soul applies to any reality television show that is casting and is patiently awaiting a big break.

Mel has applied to be on every single reality show on network TV, cable TV, and even YouTube channels, but not one casting producer has contacted Mel to date. Hopefully, Mel will get a big break soon. 

Costume Suggestions: Mauve-colored casual attire (or skydiving/flight suit) with a mauve-trimmed masquerade mask as a prop. Wind-blown hair (gel makes it stand straight up), mauve face stripes, and aviator goggles on forehead. Carry a toy parachute or jump altimeter and pose like you’re mid-freefall.

TONY TANGERINE

Artist

Tony Tangerine is a blatantly honest artist. Tony tells the truth, no matter what, even at Tony's expense. If you want to know the truth, speak to Tony. Tony's art pieces can be seen in businesses around Bloodworth Falls, as Tony is a talented artist. 

Tony has recently put an interesting art sculpture on Tony's site for sale of a medieval knight holding a bowl of fruit. But not just any fruit - super glittery fruit. There haven't been any bids on the piece to date, and Tony is getting discouraged. 

Costume Suggestions: Painter overalls (orange color if possible – or white with orange paint splatters) or casual orange attire with an orange masquerade mask as a prop. Paint-splattered hair or a bright orange beret, smudges of orange paint on cheeks and hands, and oversized quirky glasses. Carry a mini sculpture or palette with glittery “fruit.”

DANNY MAGENTA

Social Media Consultant

Danny Magenta is a social media consultant. Danny is a hard worker and a genuine and loyal friend.  Danny's known as social media royalty because Danny can boost your business's social media accounts to a million followers overnight!  

Many people in town have used Danny's services and most of them are happy  - but those are the most recent clients. The clients accounts that Danny boosted in the past are not keeping up with the projected numbers. Danny claims it is the clients' negligence and has a saying that a social media account is like a delicate plant that must be watered and given enough sun to grow. 

Costume Suggestions: Wear casual yet highly fashionable business attire (magenta-colored if possible) and a magenta-trimmed masquerade mask as a prop. Trendy magenta streak in hair (clip-in works), and a ring-light charm necklace. Carry a phone on a mini tripod, always filming with influencer confidence.

FINN BURGUNDY

Playhouse Director 

Finn Burgundy is the brazen leader of the Moon Shadow Playhouse. Finn prefers to produce dark-themed plays for the theater and is a demanding director. So naturally, Finn will get what they want at all costs, so stay out of Finn's crosshairs if you are into self-preservation.

The opening night of Finn's next production, The Mystical Flea, is around the corner. Finn is nervous that everything will go as planned.

CBC News Reporter

Ashton Jade is a gregarious news reporter for CBC News. Ashton is doing whatever it takes to secure the vacant anchor position at the television station. Therefore, if you have newsworthy secrets, stay clear of Ashton.

Ashton has recently taken up acting as a hobby, and the rumor is that Ashton might be dealing with a scandalous blackmailer.  

Costume Suggestions:  Wear a reporter costume ​Choose classic reporter attire in rich green—tailored blazer, pencil skirt or slacks, or a crisp green dress shirt under a trench coat. Add a green-trimmed masquerade mask for flair. Accessorize with a press badge, notepad, pen, or fake microphone. Hair should be styled professionally, but you can include subtle theatrical elements since Ashton moonlights in acting—like bold eyeliner or elegant jewelry.  The merch store has a CBC News line of t-shirts and hoodies.

PEYTON PEWTER

Computer Technician

Peyton Pewter founded the company Nerd Squadron, a traveling tech business. Peyton services most of the business networks in Bloodworth Falls and has recently started making house calls to private residences. Peyton is wired into the town and knows a bit about everyone's business.

Lately, Peyton's clients have had problems with their networks. Could it be something Peyton is doing incorrectly?

Costume Suggestions: Nerdy gray attire of any kind &/or a tech-inspired costume. Go full nerdy–tech goth: gray slacks, gray cardigan, button-up, suspenders, or a geeky T-shirt layered under a gray hoodie. Accessorize with a gray-trimmed masquerade mask and tech props such as fake circuit boards, USB lanyards, or a toy keyboard. Optional: glasses taped in the middle or pocket protectors for a tongue-in-cheek technician look.​

 REESE CERULEAN

Entrepreneur

Reese Cerulean is the wealthiest person in Bloodworth Falls. Reese is quite powerful, as they own most of the businesses and properties in town. Rumor has it that Reese's pile of gold came from frivolous lawsuits many years ago. Unfortunately, Reese has a short fuse, and you don't want to light it – especially if you wish to avoid wasting countless hours of your life in a courtroom.

Reese has had some electrical issues at their mansion lately - possibly due to faulty wiring. Or, could there be another reason the lights are flickering?

Costume Suggestions: Expensive-looking attire.  

​Wear high-end, designer (looking) clothing in blues—designer blazer, shimmering blouse, tailored trousers, or anything that quietly screams old money. A stylish blue-trimmed masquerade mask adds mystery. Tuck wads of (fake) cash into pockets, briefcases, or money clips. Gold jewelry or cufflinks elevate the “most powerful person in town” image.

LOGAN PLUM

Electrician

Logan Plum is the antisocial electrician in Bloodworth Falls. Not one for enjoyable conversation, this blue-collar worker despises people in general. However, Logan's an excellent electrician  - and the only one in town. As long as you leave Logan alone, you'll have peace.

Logan Plum's sister is the medical examiner in Bloodworth Falls, so Logan is one of the first people to learn about a scandalous murder in town. 

Costume Suggestions:  Purple/plum attire of any kind.  Purple/plum trimmed/colored masquerade mask as a prop.  An electrician costume. 

Choose plum or purple workwear—coveralls if possible, or plum T-shirt with dark work pants. Add tool belts, (toy) pliers, wire cutters, and gloves for realism. A plum-colored masquerade mask connects you to the ball’s theme. Optional touches: fake electrician patches, boots, and a slightly grumpy expression.​

DREW GOLDEN

Stagehand

Drew Golden is the boisterous stagehand for the Moon Shadow Playhouse. Drew has been desperately trying to break into stage acting, but Finn Burgundy won't hear of it, and there's not another playhouse in town. So, Drew sometimes takes out their frustrations on the cast members of the theater.

Drew has recently wanted to get into filmmaking but hasn't had the time to launch the hobby. Also, Drew is upset about something the town's mayor has supposedly done. Will Drew try to take on the mayor? 

Costume Suggestions: A stagehand costume 

Go for mustard, gold, or warm yellow tones. A mustard work shirt paired with jeans or stagehand coveralls is ideal. Add a yellow-trimmed masquerade mask. Optional props: headset, tape roll, tool belt, flashlight, clipboard, or gaffer tape—anything used backstage. Slightly messy hair or smudged makeup reflects Drew’s stress and ambition.​

 RILEY WHITE

Mayor of Bloodworth Falls

Riley White is the scandalous mayor of Bloodworth Falls. The mayor's no stranger to corruption, bribery, and blackmail and has a hand in many depraved matters. However, Riley is a hard worker and takes care of the primary needs of the people of Bloodworth Falls. Things are doom and gloom in the town, but nobody would dare run against Riley for mayor.

Rumors are floating around town that Riley might have tried to tamper with the outcome of the most recent horse race. If this is true, it is behavior unbecoming of a mayor. 

Costume Suggestions:  Politician Costume with white attire of any kind.  

​Traditional crisp white—white suit, skirt suit, or tailored dress. Add patriotic accessories or campaign buttons for drama. Your white masquerade mask should look clean and powerful. A fake podium note card or prop microphone works well. Optional: “Vote for White” pin for comedic effect.

OMARI BLACK

Radio Host

The hit morning radio host, Omari Black, is a great friend to have and a horrible enemy to make. Omari has the attention of the morning commuters and can make or break someone in Bloodworth Falls. However, Omari can be shady at times and is known to accept bribes for radio spots.    

Close sources have said that this radio personality might have their sights on a news anchor position, and Mayor Riley White recommends them for the job. But, of course, the fans of the morning radio show will be highly disappointed if this is true and Omari quits the show.  

Costume Suggestions:  Black attire.  Wear trendy black clothing—fitted black jeans, black boots, dark shirt, or stylish jacket. Choose a black masquerade mask with subtle metallic accents. Props: headphones around the neck, small microphone, or index cards with “radio notes.” The look should be polished but approachable—like a celebrity on the rise.

PRAM PEACH

Costume Designer

Pram Peach is the flamboyant costume designer for the Moon Shadow Playhouse. However, Pram aspires to be more than a theater costume designer and has sent the latest Pram Fashions to handpicked celebrities.   Pram hopes to see the pieces walk down the red carpet soon. But, unfortunately, Pram's been frustrated that a big break has yet to happen.

The other day, a local news show reported that Pram's theater costumes are not up to industry standards. This has undoubtedly put Pram in foul spirits. 

Costume Suggestions: Wear any kind of theater-worthy costume.

​Go flamboyant peach or soft orange with theatrical flair. Think dramatic peach shawls, tulle, feathers, sequins, or layered costume fabrics. Add a peach-colored theatrical masquerade mask—something you would proudly design yourself. Carry pins, fabric swatches, measuring tape, or a small sketchbook to show your designer identity.

DEADBEE CYAN

EDM Producer / DJ

Deadbee Cyan is a rising star and producer of electronic dance music (EDM). Deadbee is famous in the underground music scene and has recently gained recognition for receiving a Gram Award for the hit song I'm Lucky. People say everything Deadbee touches turns to gold. Stay in this DJ's shadows if you seek fame and fortune, as there's plenty to go around. 

However, Deadbee recently accepted a job in town that could have gone better. As a result, this DJ hopes this incident doesn't get blasted on social media and ruin their reputation. 

Costume Suggestions:  EDM artist/rave costume. 

​Choose turquoise or greenish-blue rave fashion—LED accessories, metallic jackets, flashy tops, or futuristic fabrics. Add a turquoise masquerade mask. Props: toy headphones, glow sticks, fake turntable record, or neon bracelets. Feel free to go bold with makeup—shimmer, glitter, or geometric eyeliner is perfect for an EDM star.

WOLFE INDIGO

Butler of Reese Cerulean

Wolfe Indigo is the sarcastic butler of the town tycoon Reese Cerulean. Rumor has it that Wolfe's current position is a by-product of a frivolous lawsuit. Many have tried to validate this rumor, but all have failed. Wolfe is miserable as Reese's servant, which is not under dispute.        

Lately, Wolfe has been desperate for someone to either put Reese Cerulean in jail or make them disappear from the face of the Earth. Wolfe's patience is about to give way to rage.

Costume Suggestions:  Butler costume. 

​Wear a dark-indigo tuxedo or suit—crisp, conservative, and perfectly pressed. Add white gloves, polished shoes, and a professional posture. Include an indigo masquerade mask. For authenticity, carry a silver tray, folded towel, or antique-looking pocket watch. Hair should be neat and tidy to reflect your butler status.

MADISON SCARLET

Federal Agent

Madison Scarlet is a femme fatale federal agent who often leaves her hometown of Bloodworth Falls to travel to foreign lands on secret missions. This secret agent is challenging to be around, as it is impossible to tell if she is working on a mission or enjoying her time away from the agency. Watch what you say around this undercover snoop.

Madison has recently traveled to Bloodworth Falls and has a ticket to the Bloodwood Masquerade Ball. The problem for the town's residents is that Madison doesn't do anything strictly socially. There's a reason why she is in town. 

Costume Suggestions: Red gown Optional toy gun. 

​Choose a deep red evening gown or tailored suit—sleek, stunning, and slightly dangerous. Add a red masquerade mask with subtle glitter or lace detailing. Optional: a (toy) gun on a garter, a clutch with a secret-agent vibe, or an earpiece. Hair and makeup should look polished and femme-fatale stylish.

 

BRAD OLIVE

Stage Actor

            Brad Olive is the charismatic stage actor at the Moon Shadow Playhouse. A tad narcissistic, he knows he is shamefully good-looking and can get whatever he wants from women. Brad has been the lead actor in the theater for many years and is looking for a big break in Hollywood.

Brad's mood has soured since he didn't land the lead in The Mystical Flea's production at the Moon Shadow Playhouse. After being made the understudy, Brad has refused to speak to Finn Burgundy. 

Costume Suggestions: High fashion attire on a budget - you're trying to make an impression. 

​Wear olive green attire that looks stylish but intentionally “trying hard.” An olive sports coat, stylish olive blouse, or sleek slim-fit outfit works. Add an olive masquerade mask. Carry a Sharpie for autographs and perhaps a playbill. Optional: sunglasses indoors, showing your actor ego.

GARY GRAY

Mechanic

Gary Gray is the deceitful mechanic at Gray's Auto Shop in Bloodworth Falls. Gary's a skilled mechanic, but many people believe he adds charges for unnecessary parts and labor after repairing a vehicle. But, of course, he's the best mechanic in town, so what can anybody do about it?

The townsfolk are starting to compare notes on Gary's scam. Gary might not have long as a mechanic in Bloodworth Falls unless he stops price-gouging people and misquoting them. 

Costume Suggestions: Gray attire of any kind or a mechanic's uniform.  Gray masquerade mask as a prop. 

​Wear simple gray coveralls or mechanic’s uniform. Add smudges of fake grease on your face or hands. Bring a toy wrench, rag, or tool belt. A gray masquerade mask ties into the theme. Boots and a name patch reading “Gary” complete the aesthetic.

Horse Jockey

Freddie Fuchsia is the cynical horse jockey of the infamous racehorse Dark Sail. Freddie does whatever it takes to win races and will stop at nothing to get in the winner's circle. Other jockeys think Freddie has trained Dark Sail to bite competitors during races, but nobody has been able to prove Freddie had anything to do with his impolite behavior.

Some say that Freddie is adamantly against allowing Dark Sail to act aggressively toward competitors. However, something out of Freddie's control is not allowing this jockey to correct the behavior. 

Costume Suggestions:  Jockey uniform. 

​Wear jockey-style silks in bright fuchsia or hot pink. Add riding boots, toy crop, and helmet if desired. Your fuchsia masquerade mask should be bold and eye-catching. Optional: a tiny toy horse or "race number" pinned to the shirt.

AVERY  LEMON

Scuba Instructor

Avery Lemon is a blissful scuba instructor. Avery is a helpful person and a joy to be around. Unfortunately, cruel people often take advantage of Avery's gentle personality, and Avery usually ends up on the wrong side of situations. Nonetheless, everybody loves to be around Avery's smile, as it's contagious. Avery Lemon is one of the biggest fans of Omari Black's morning radio show. Avery swears they wouldn't be able to function if Omari ever went off the air.   Avery is also one of Brad Olive's biggest fans and hasn't missed one of his plays at the Moon Shadow Playhouse. 

Costume Suggestions: Scuba diver costume. 

​Choose cheerful yellow clothing—rash guard, wetsuit top, or scuba-inspired outfit. Accessorize with goggles, snorkel, or flippers (or carry them for convenience). Add a yellow masquerade mask. Hair can be wet-styled or beachy. You may also carry a small sea-themed prop (toy fish, seashell).

CAREY CORAL

Ancient Artifacts Dealer

  Carey Coral is an eccentric ancient artifacts dealer from England. Carey travels to remote spots around the globe to find exotic items and sells them at local auctions. Due to worldly travels, Carey knows a bit about everything. Carey has recently moved to Bloodworth Falls and is not afraid to say it was a big mistake.

Many people are talking about how Carey recently caused a massive scandal at the auction house. Did Carey try to pass off fake artifacts as authentic? 

Costume Suggestions: ​Wear coral or salmon attire with explorer flair: cargo pants, linen shirt, satchel bag, boots. Add an Indiana Jones–style hat or archaeological props like rope, passport, or brush set. A coral masquerade mask gives it an aristocratic edge. Gold-toned jewelry or old keys boost the “eccentric collector” look.

BRIN MINT

Cosmetic Surgeon

Dr. Brin Mint is the outrageous plastic surgeon from Bloodworth Falls. Brin will give you a free treatment plan for your face – without a request for one. This can be off-putting to most people, so this doc doesn't have many true friends. Nevertheless, Dr. Mint's appointment book is filled months in advance.

Dr. Mint is known to send advertisements with coupons to people who the doc believes need plastic surgery. This often offends people, and Dr. Mint gets angry phone calls.

Costume Suggestions:  Lab coat as an optional accessory (or you can wear scrubs as if you just left your office). ​Wear mint-colored attire—dress shirt, blouse, or dress—with a white lab coat or the mint scrubs. Add a mint-trimmed masquerade mask. Carry cosmetic-surgery-themed props like a clipboard, measuring tape, or contour-mapping face chart. Optional: humorous business cards offering free consultations.

 LOU VIOLET

Magician

Lou Violet is a paranoid magician.  Lou performs weekly at the Moon Shadow Playhouse and constantly dribbles about conspiracy theory nonsense.  Lou is a talented magician with a great team of assistants.  Lou has a fantastic magic show, but being around this magician in social situations can be exhausting.

Costume Suggestions: Glitzy purple magician's costume or a black tuxedo with a top hat.  

​Wear a glitzy, theatrical purple magician’s costume—sequined vest, shimmering cape, or velvet jacket—for maximum showmanship. Alternatively, choose a classic black tuxedo with tails and a tall top hat to lean into old-school stage magic. Add a purple-trimmed masquerade mask for mystique. Optional props include a magic wand, a deck of cards, silk scarves, or a small “bag of tricks” to perform mini illusions for guests. Slightly messy or dramatic eyeliner fits Lou’s paranoid, eccentric charisma.

 

MAGICIAN’S ASSISTANT

Assistant to Lou Violet

Lou Violet’s assistants are the best in the entertainment business.  The assistants are an attractive bunch with excellent performing skills who often complain about how difficult it is to work for Lou. Rumors are circulating that their boss is seeking employment elsewhere.

Costume Suggestions: Glitzy purple magician's assistant costume or a black tuxedo with a top hat.  ​Wear a glamorous purple magician’s assistant outfit—sparkly dress, fitted vest-and-tights combo, or sleek tuxedo with a top hat. Add a purple masquerade mask to tie into Lou’s signature color. Accessories could include feathered fans, stage gloves, a wand, or glittering props used in illusions. Hair and makeup should be glamorous and camera-ready, reflecting the troupe’s high-performing professionalism (and the stress of working for paranoid Lou).

IZZY MAROON

Lead Makeup Artist

Izzy Maroon is the eccentric makeup artist at the Moon Shadow Playhouse. Izzy’s also a weapon collector and loves to discuss the items in the collection, such as blast knuckles, chain whips, grappling hooks, and throwing star necklaces.  It isn’t a mystery why the actors sitting in Izzy’s makeup chair never complain.

Costume Suggestions: Wear trendy, fashionable attire.

​Choose fashionable maroon or burgundy attire—form-fitting tops, asymmetrical jackets, trendy jumpsuits, or stylish layers that reflect Izzy’s creativity. Add a maroon-trimmed masquerade mask. Carry a makeup belt, brushes, or compact palette to “touch up” guests. Optional daring accessories—like faux throwing-star earrings or a toy grappling hook—nod to Izzy’s eccentric collection of weapons without looking too dangerous.

The Moon Shadow Playhouse makeup team members are obedient, hard-working professionals.  Rumor has it they’re scared to work for someone like Izzy Maroon. However, Finn Burgundy doesn’t mind Izzy’s oddities, as the makeup always gets done on time for the opening act, and nobody ever complains.

​Wear modern, trendy maroon/burgundy clothing—dark maroon tops, stylish pants, layered scarves, or artistic streetwear that matches a backstage makeup crew aesthetic. CASS CHOCOLATE

Lead Production Assistant

Cass Chocolate is an insomnia-driven workaholic.  Cass typically has dark circles under the eyes from a lack of sleep but is mentally sharp as a tack.  Cass and crew assist everybody at the Moon Shadow Playhouse and ensure everything runs smoothly during performances.

​Wear all shades of brown—chocolate brown jacket, brown henley shirt, dark brown pants, or casual all-brown workwear. Add a brown or brown-trimmed masquerade mask. Subtle props: clipboards, headsets, or a bundle of “cue sheets.” Draw faint dark circles under your eyes for realism, since Cass famously never sleeps. Boots or utility shoes complete the backstage look.

The production assistants who report to Cass Chocolate are a boisterous bunch.  Cass has a full plate, as this team needs to be micromanaged.  Cass can become quite intolerant of ill behavior occasionally – but for a good reason.

BRUNO IVORY

Pop Star

Bruno Ivory is the wacky pop star who catapulted to fame this year with his uber-hit single – Eatin’ Grenades. Bruno is famous for peculiarities, such as keeping insects in jars as pets. His entourage must always sneak behind him and set his insect army free daily.

Costume Suggestions: Pop star costume.  Choose trendy ivory or white pop-star fashion—shiny jackets, metallic shirts, faux-fur accents, or stage-ready glam pieces. Add a white or ivory masquerade mask with glitter or metallic trim. Optional props include jars of toy insects (a signature Bruno quirk), sunglasses, microphone props, or flashy jewelry. Feel free to add bold makeup or dramatic hair styling to evoke an eccentric chart-topper.

Bruno Ivory’s Entourage

Bruno Ivory’s entourage consists of serious professionals. Bruno has risen to fame in such a short time that his entourage has had difficulty keeping up with the pop star's demands and increasing need for security.

MARIA LIME

Mobster

Maria Lime is a notorious gangster from the Silver Dollar Mob. She is trying to remain undercover, as there may be federal agents lurking about in Bloodworth Falls, and she is a wanted felon. If she senses she's around law enforcement, she often tells stories about what she does for a living.

Costume Suggestions: Gun-moll suit .  A fedora and toy gun as optional props. 

​Wear a black or deep-green gun-moll suit—fitted blazer, pencil skirt, wide-leg trousers, or 1930s mob-inspired attire. Add a green masquerade mask for undercover flair. A fedora and toy gun round out the look. Optional props: cigarette holder, pinstripe jacket, or a faux leather ledger containing “business records.” Your posture and demeanor should radiate confident secrecy.

MOBSTER

Silver Dollar Mob

The mobsters of the Silver Dollar Mob from Anonville are an infamous group of criminals.  They all report to Silver Dollar Sonny - a legendary crime boss wanted by the FBI. Sonny crept underground many years ago. The rumor mill reports the feds are actively searching for him and his mobsters.

Costume Suggestions: Mobster suit  ​Wear a classic black mobster suit—pinstripes, suspenders, dark tie, and polished shoes—paired with a green-trimmed masquerade mask. Add a fedora for authority. Optional props: toy tommy gun, toy revolver, cigar prop, or deck of cards. Overall vibe: cold, organized, dangerous.

JOHN/JANE DOE

Unknown

Nobody knows who this person is at the masquerade ball, but everybody agrees that he or she is undoubtedly up to no good.

The day the tickets went on sale for the ball, the people in line allowed this particular individual to move ahead of them. Why was everyone so afraid? It must have been the full-face mask or how they strolled slowly and stood too close to others.

Costume Suggestions:  Coveralls. 

Your entire identity must be concealed. Wear a solid-colored, full-face mask of any style—smooth, expressionless, or unsettlingly ornate. Pair it with a hoodie pulled tight around the head or oversized coveralls to obscure your frame and hair. Baggy clothing helps disguise your shape. Move slowly and silently to create an unsettling presence.​
