Cheeseburger Tacos for Tuesdays

Want a cheeseburger but it's Taco Tuesday. I got you, breh (my millennial nephew says that- ha ha). Here's my recipe for CHEESEBURGA TACOS - woot woot:

Ingredients:

  • 4 hamburger patties

  • 8 slices of bread

  • 8 slices of cheese

  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce

  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes

  • 1/4 cup diced onions

  • 1/4 cup diced pickles

  • 8 taco shells

  • Ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise for serving.

  • Optional to have guac for this - if so, spread it on before putting the rest.

Instructions:

  1. Preheat a grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Grill the hamburger patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

  3. Place 1 slice of cheese on each hamburger patty and let it melt for 1-2 minutes.

  4. While the cheese is melting, toast the bread slices on the grill.

  5. Once the cheese has melted, remove the hamburger patties from the grill and place each patty on a taco shell.

  6. Add the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced onions, and diced pickles on top of each cheeseburger taco.

  7. Drizzle ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise on top of the toppings.

  8. Close the taco shell and enjoy your grilled cheeseburger tacos!

While this recipe may not be practical or traditional, it can certainly bring a smile and a laugh to those who enjoy a good cheesy joke.
